We are rock and soul band from Washington D.C. and this is our Otis Redding/Small Faces version of "Shake." We got involved with this project because we have always felt a special kinship with the Caribbean, its people, and its culture. Most of the members of the band have played and listened to the many genres of music that the region has given to the world, and felt it necessary to give some music back. The culture of the Caribbean is our culture. Some of us in the band, as immigrants and children of immigrants from other parts of the Americas, can’t forget that Haitians are Americans too. If you like what you hear, please give what you can afford at http://www.voiceofhaiti.org. Thanks.
