This is an old song, written in 1943 by Kurt Weill and Ogden Nash, which I recorded about 7 years ago. But I think the lyrics offer a timely reminder that life is unpredictable and fleeting, and we should express our love while we can. In that spirit, I hope you'll express your love -- your compassion and encouragement -- to the victims of the Haiti earthquake by making a donation to help them with the medical attention, food, clean water, and shelter they desperately need.
Please visit http://www.voiceofhaiti.org and donate now.
Thanks for listening, and thanks for caring about the people of Haiti.
Catherine Carraway (vocals), Peter Richardson (guitar), Bob Bowen (bass), Recorded by Jeff Romano, August 2002.
